Yes, I have a WordPress web design business I love.

I have amazing clients.

I feel confident in my abilities and knowledge.

I know my ideal clients. My pricing. My intake process.

And I have a niche—creative businesses—many of whom rely on me as a partner.

BUT IT WASN’T ALWAYS THIS WAY!

There was a time when I didn’t know what I was doing.

I didn’t always know how to build WordPress websites. I didn’t even know I wanted to be a designer until after I graduated college. There was plenty of time where self-doubt had me a little bit stuck. But I kept moving forward. Ilise recently wrote a letter to her younger self, and I loved it so much—because I can totally relate.

Everyone’s who is an expert at something today had to GET THERE. They weren’t just born that way.
