Today’s episode is a conversation with Francis Nayan, a copywriter who pitched himself as a podcast guest to me. I get a lot of these and I don’t generally respond because they usually haven’t done their homework. But I could tell that Francis had.

So I said yes but we didn’t end up talking about the topic he originally pitched to me. I was actually more interested in hearing his podcast pitching strategy:

• how he chooses who to pitch to
• how much time he spends crafting the pitch message – indeed that’s why I responded
• what his follow up strategy is

He was a good sport and I think you’ll enjoy it and learn a lot.
