I wrote last month about “finding your people” and to do that, you have to go where they go, to be where they are.

Online that’s likely to be on LinkedIn, essentially the go-to business search engine, making it one of the best places to be seen by your ideal clients.

It’s actually better than your own blog because your prospects, your market, your niche, are already there!

Here are some of recent examples of how Marketing Mentor clients are doing this:

  • The Retail Forecast is a new series of articles written by Robert Rutledge, whose LinkedIn title is, Global Store Development Strategist and Retail Designer. He is posting his ideas on LinkedIn Pulse where his growing network will see them. He’s got 2 articles up so far and more coming. This is a great way to get started with content marketing.
  • The World Needs Your Creativity is a blog post by Maria Guerriero about her recent experience taking part in an online project called #the100dayproject. She’s reposting from her blog to LinkedIn Pulse and then tweeting the link out so others will retweet it.
  • They Have Needs. You Have Solutions is one in a series of blog posts from Strategic Design Studio, reposted to LinkedIn Pulse. The blog posts are themselves excerpts from the latest white paper, 4 Questions for a Successful Healthcare Communications Project. (This is more advanced content marketing — something to aspire to.)
