What I'm Doing Right Now [QTMM 3-16-20]

| 1-min read Stay updated

Things are changing, and fast. I hope you're flexible.

One thing is for sure, whatever happens, it's going to be bad for some but good for others. So now would be a good time to get out of your own way.

Because, as I mentioned in the video above from Friday's Office Hours group coaching session (which is part of the Simplest Marketing Plan), your clients will probably need help, especially with communication.

So I hope you're thinking about how (and who) you can help.

I am. That means I am here to help you. I am already in content machine mode.

My message in the video is this: be proactive, be flexible and be helpful.

See below for what I'm doing and the burning questions I'll be answering here on my blog this week:

  • How should I communicate with clients? Or should I just lay low?
  • What should I do about outstanding proposals & projects about to begin?
  • Should I still send out my email newsletter?
  • What's the right tone to strike?
  • What about LinkedIn? Is that where I should spend my time?

For answers and actual examples, you can sign up to get these blog posts via email.

Here's what I'm doing right now...and you could too.

  1. Checking in, one person at a time, with a genuine and simple message of care and concern to see how they're doing and what they're dealing with.
  2. Coming up with ideas for how to be helpful. (I'm considering starting a new coaching group to help you get your email newsletter going -- finally!)
  3. Keeping things in perspective by focusing on the big picture (i.e. evolution and the universe) and limiting news consumption to twice daily.
  4. Double checking everything. Since we're probably not thinking entirely straight, I'm swearing off quick decisions, slowing down to pay closer attention to everything and reaching out for a second opinion when I'm not sure.

What do you need? What questions are on your mind? Let me know and I'll add them to my content machine.

I'll do my best to share practical strategies as we make our way through this time. And if you think I might be able to help you, take advantage of the free mentoring session.
