The most important aspect of marketing, hands down, is connecting with real prospects. Yet I see so many people spending disproportionate amounts of time perfecting their marketing materials. So I’m on a bit of a mission lately to adjust those proportions.
The first step is picking your niche, so you can know where to find your ideal market.
But it’s easy to get stuck before you actually locate what I call your “living, breathing prospects” — the people who want to work with you, if only they knew about you!
