After a recent call with Ilise, I put together a list to help me stay focused when I work on marketing for Strassel Creative. These 3 mantras have helped me target where and how to spend my time marketing. One of my favorite things about these simple reminders is that I have no guilt declining prospects or opportunities that aren't a match.
- Know your prospects: Who do you want to be working for, where are they, what do they need?
- Know your value: Why do prospects want to work with you? How can you help them?
- Promote with purpose: Clarify the message to your prospects, focus and be consistent. Always speak to prospects you want to be working with. Ignore the others, they are distractions (don't worry you aren't being rude, you are saving everyone time!).
