Is your email marketing triggering conversations?

I can’t say enough about the power of email newsletters. As a matter of fact, Stephanie Helline’s recent email newsletter success prompted an interview, a blog post (What It Takes for an Email Newsletter to Get the Phone Ringing) and my latest tip (Here's proof email marketing works).

And you know something? I’m not done singing the praises of newsletters yet.

During our interview, Stephanie said something that perfectly demonstrated the potential of email marketing. She said, “It feels like just continuing a conversation…”

Stephanie describes the process: 

“The phone rings, emails come in, and a lot of times it triggers folks… I often get an email right after my newsletter goes out that says, ‘Let’s talk!’ I’ve learned it’s a good thing to block out a few hours after the newsletter goes out, because sometimes I’m tied up with taking calls and responding to emails. I feel as though if someone emails me right after getting the newsletter I should jump on that right away.”
