Can’t Get Your Email Newsletter Done?

For years I’ve been advising clients: “If you only use one marketing tool, make it an email newsletter.”

And while these clients are usually willing, the flesh is weak. They simply can’t carve out the time to focus on it and get it done.

It finally occurred to me earlier this year that I could do more than just give advice on this. With all the freelancers I know and the resources I have access to, I could actually do it for them. Then, it would get done!

So this week, with our email newsletter focus here on the blog, we’re featuring 3 of the recent email newsletters we have had a hand in creating for Marketing Mentor’s creative clients (in collaboration with our team of writers and designers — often clients also).

The rule we follow for content: focus on an aspect of your services you want to grow. Here’s how 3 clients are doing that:

Robin Honey of Honey Design wrote and self-published The Beebrand Manifesto and we are helping her re-purpose it into an email newsletter campaign (and more). Here’s the first one.



Cipher Creative put on the first Cipher Symposium: The Art of Cross Media last spring to show what they know and educate their market. Out of that experience came more than a year’s worth of content. The first piece is a newsletter recapping some of the highlights.
