• Do you ever worry about where your next project will come from?

  • Do you get nervous or have doubts about how to price your work?

  • Do you wonder how to find new clients?

If so, this workshop is for you!

You are invited to attend this on of a kind one-day workshop that will move your design career forward in a confident and financially rewarding way. Whether you are just starting out or have been working as a designer for a while, this workshop will teach you what you need to know about creating a successful and profitable career in graphic design.

My name is Peleg Top and I am the founder of Top Design, one of the most successful and well-known design firms in Los Angeles. I have owned my own firm for the last 15 years and in that time I have reached personal and financial success beyond my wildest dreams. My work has been published in every design magazine and I often speak at conferences around the country. I am now on a personal mission to help other designers learn how to improve their business and marketing skills.

My firm, Top Design, is proud to have a roster of illustrious clients, including Toyota, The Grammy Awards, Universal Music, City of Hope, AIDS Healthcare Foundation and many more. I don't say this to brag. I'm telling you how much I've achieved because if I have been able to do this, then you can too. All you have to do is overcome the 3 main challenges almost all designers face:

Challenge #1: You don’t know how to find and develop business relationships that lead to lucrative projects because …

  • You don’t know how to introduce yourself in a way that will make another person to want to know more about you and the services you offer.
  • You don’t know how to handle prospects who don’t respond to your messages.
  • You never seem to get any clients out of a networking event because you don’t know (and therefore aren’t practicing) sure-fire networking techniques.

Challenge #2: You don’t know how to value or price your work so you end up losing money because…

  • You feel like you lack the know-how and confidence about pricing or how to give an accurate estimate for a job.
  • You don’t know what the value of the work is.
  • You don’t have any idea what your prospect is willing to pay (and you don’t know how to ask for that information).
  • You don’t feel confident asking for the money you deserve for your work.
  • You don’t know the 3 things you must do when you are presenting an estimate (knowing them will help you land the job and close the deal).

Challenge #3: You have no idea how to create an ongoing stream of new prospects and clients – good ones

  • You are not sure which marketing tools to use.
  • You don’t know enough about your client’s dreams, hopes, beliefs, wants, or problems — except you think or hope they need a designer.
  • You are overwhelmed and don’t know how to break your marketing plan down into small, actionable steps.
  • You don’t know the “7 things” you must have on your website to ensure your chance of landing a client or project.

If any of this rings true for you, then you’ve come to the right place.

By the end of this full-day workshop, you will:

  • Learn some of the nuts and bolts of running a graphic design business
  • Learn how to talk about money with your clients
  • Feel a whole lot more confident and knowledgeable about figuring out your hourly rates, as well as, giving an accurate estimate for a project
  • Learn how to estimate a design project in less than 20 minutes
  • Learn how to craft a winning proposal
  • Get the tools to create a smart marketing plan that reflects your ideal financial goals and the small actionable steps to take in reaching those ideal financial goals.
  • Start effectively using various marketing tools that will enhance your image and value, and sell the client on hiring you
  • Be able to easily meet more people at a networking event. Establish contacts with potential clients, or insiders who could introduce you to potential clients.
  • Learn how to have an easy way to follow up and keep in touch with prospects so that they don't forget about you and think instantly of you when their moment of need for a designer arises

What You Can Expect.

The Pricing and Marketing Workshop is a full day workshop. We will go from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm. We will start working at 9am sharp and the entire morning will be dedicated to marketing and running your business. We will learn how to define your market and position your business for success. Then will cover the 5 essential steps for business growth in which you will have an opportunity to talk about your burning marketing and business questions.

Lunch will be served at Noon. We will be using this hour to have an open table discussion about any business or client issues you are dealing with these days. This often turns out to be one of the favorite parts of the workshop, the chance to talk to your peers in an open, safe environment about the most intimate parts of your business.

After lunch we will devote the rest of the day to pricing. You will learn how to establish your hourly rate and how to create estimates for all kinds of projects. You won't just learn abstract pricing theories; you will go through actual examples that will challenge you to figure out what to charge an real projects so that you make money. But most importantly, you will learn some great techniques on how to get your clients to tell you what their budget is before writing your proposal.

After this “Pricing & Estimating Workshop ...”

One of the reasons this hands-on training workshop is so unique is because you will be one of only 6 people allowed to take this workshop. That allows me to give each participant all the attention and guidance needed. Plus, I want to ensure you get all the materials down by the end of the day. You will also get my personal attention to any problems you are having during the hands-on training. When you are done, you will have the tools and the “know how” to go out there and get the clients you’ve been dreaming of.

You can see that you are going to get some pretty powerful knowledge to move your design career to a higher level. This powerful knowledge of “pricing & estimating” for your maximum value; making your “marketing plan” so you can achieve your financial dreams and lifestyle; and “developing relationships” that lead to paying clients or projects.

But don’t sign up yet. Before you do, there is one more thing I want you to read. It’s the most important part of this letter. Here it is ...

The Only Guarantee That Works.

I never went to design school. It’s experience that has made me what I am today. That means I was my best guarantee. I chose to “take action” to do what needed to be done to get me closer and closer to my business goals. And that’s what I want you to do too. I can only guarantee you that I will give you all you need to get the high-paying clients or work — I’m your proof that it can be done. It’s your willingness and desire to apply what you learned in my workshop that will guarantee your success.

You can get the most benefit from this workshop if you are willing to go on successfully applying and learning long after you’ve taken this workshop. Still interested? Great! Then click on the signup link and register today.

If you have any questions please contact me. I look forward to training you for an early success in your design career.

Sincerely,
Peleg Top

PS: This is a 6 person all day workshop. Space is obviously limited. If you miss getting in on the benefits of this workshop, CD’s will be available and more workshops will be scheduled in the future as time allows.

The Marketing Mentor Workshop was very informative with tons of useful insight. Peleg seems very knowledgeable, and more importantly, like he is speaking from experience. I learned how to create a marketing plan verses figuring it our one step at a time. I plan on reusing the handouts from the program immediately!
