If you’re trying to win interactive projects – and that is the future so I hope you are — positioning is more important than ever. Why? Because interactive projects are more complex (especially the large ones) plus there’s technology involved that you probably weren’t trained on. So whether you’re a freelancer or a small firm, your positioning must be strong and clear to demonstrate to your prospects that you’ve got what it takes.
Positioning is just one of the topics I’ll be talking about at the HOW Interactive Design Conference in San Francisco: Oct 28, 2012, 1-4 PM.
My pre-conference Business Bootcamp, Positioning, Proposals and Pricing for Interactive Projects, will help you:
- Develop a positioning statement and learn how to find the clients that fit your positioning
- See what a winning interactive proposal must include
- Get the tools you need to do your own cost analysis for appropriate and profitable pricing, especially when collaborating with partners
- Learn how to get paid to write proposals for large projects and/or clients who don’t know what they need
