Today I’m wrapping up my blog series focusing on the 10 niches featured in the new Pick A Niche Kit (available now in the Marketing Mentor Online Shop) with the final niche…

Niche #10: Issue-Driven Focus

Definition: There are more and more creative professionals using issues, such as the “green movement” and sustainability, as their focus. Be careful with this: some issues are fleeting trends, gone before you can revise your web site, while others have more longevity. Either way, if an issue is not yet in the mainstream, it may take additional marketing for prospects to understand.

Example
Wordstream Copy

Focus:
Green movement

Tagline:
None

Homepage message:
Copy that creates action for creative professionals and green businesses.

Highlight:
This copywriter is protecting himself from the relative newness and narrowness of the “green” market by also targeting the unrelated market of creative professionals and agencies.
