If You Can’t Write A Newsletter…

Posted by Ilise Benun on

My clients always tell me, “I can’t write a newsletter. I’m not a writer. I’m more visual.”

Guess what? Visual newsletters can be extremely effective! To show the possibilities, I’m sharing two of my favorite “visual” newsletters from this month.

  1. Tom Carling, from Carling Design, has just 99 words in his newsletter, “Breaking the Laws of Good Design.” The rest is images and some recurring text about a complimentary consultation.
  2. GD Squared’s newsletter, “Why do we carve pumpkins?” is extremely visual—with very little writing.

If you’re ready to start a visual newsletter, don’t forget to use our partner discount with Emma (free custom headers + 20% off).

Does your newsletter include very few words? If so, please share it!
