How professional is your photo?

Posted by Ilise Benun on

Have you noticed lately how many online networking sites now ask you to include a photo of yourself? I find myself uploading my photo everywhere these days on social networking sites like LinkedIn and Biznik. I even created an "avatar" for myself that will appear when I comment and will supposedly follow me around from blog to blog. (See that in my comment on this post.)

Well, if the photo you’re using is one you took yourself — arm outstretched — with your own camera-phone, it’s probably time for something a wee bit more professional. The wrong picture can easily send the wrong message.

Here’s a great opportunity if you’re in the NYC area. Photographer Michael Robinson is offering monthly Business Portrait Day on July 22nd and Aug 26th.

Business Portrait Day is an affordable solution to get an outstanding portrait of yourself, one that will speak the true level of your expertise. Robinson, a photographer who specializes in business portraits, makes this promise: "I will make certain your customers make a positive connection between you and your business whenever they see your portrait. It will make your business totally stand out from your competition and enhance your company’s profile."

The price per portrait is $285. Appointments are available between 9am – 6pm. They will all take place at 352 Seventh Avenue (btwn 29th & 30th Street) 16th Floor, New York, NY

Put your best image forward!  Call (212) 221-3228 or e-mail info AT michaelarobinson DOT com today to schedule your portrait.
