Email newsletters burst your bubble

If you work alone, chances are you’re working in a bubble. And if you’re not marketing yourself — in other words, not putting yourself out into the world via your marketing tools — you may tend to get a little negative about things, sometimes, maybe.

But things sure are different once you learn to interact with the world a bit. In fact, the other day, one Marketing Mentor client, copywriter, Conrad Winter, of Backpocket Copywriter sent out the first issue of his email newsletter (sign up for it here) and got such positive feedback that it burst his negative bubble. Not only do his clients and prospects want to hear from him, they also wanted to tell him how much they like his work. If he hadn’t reached out, he’d never hear about it.
